1. What the site stores in your browser

The site language is taken from the address (/ or /en); no cookie is used for it. The newsletter sets no cookies.
2. Statistics — only with your consent
When statistics are switched on, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen. Until you press “Allow”, no counter is loaded and no request is sent to any third party.
After “Allow”, Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC, Russia) is loaded. It sets its own cookies (for example _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad) for up to 1 year to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. Session replay (Webvisor) is off. The full list is in Yandex's help. Metrica data is stored on Yandex servers in Russia; we only use it as aggregated statistics. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)).
Google Analytics is not used. If that changes, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy first.
There are no advertising or social-media cookies (share buttons, ad pixels) on the site.
3. Changing your choice
- Delete the cookies of acrosstheworldtoyou.ru in your browser settings — the banner appears again and you can choose anew. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting.
- Saying no does not change how the site works: every page, the newsletter and purchases work the same.
- You can also block cookies in your browser for all or some sites.
4. Server logs
The hosting provider may keep short technical logs (IP address, time, page address) for security. They are not cookies and are not used for statistics or advertising.
